#987 THOREAU'S ADVERBS ENDING IN '-FULLY'

Thoreau, the famous American writer of the 19th Century, made notable experiments on 'simple living'. He recorded his experiences, in his famous work 'Walden'.

Thoreau is very adept in use of adjectives and adverbs.

Here is a list of 13 adverbs, ending in '-fully' used by him. He has used these in about 200 sentences, i.e. multiple use has taken place. His most favorite among these 13 is, 'beautifully', like many other authors. He did not, on the other hand, use an adverb like 'awfully'.
